It’s been on my mind for a while now to share about my incredible experience with the U.S. Grains Council. I began my role as the Social Media Contractor on June 17, 2024, and what a remarkable time I’ve had in just one year! It feels like I’ve been here for much longer than that – thanks to the amazing colleagues I get to work with and the work we get to accomplish!
From the interview process, to my first day and every day since then, the people I work with have made me feel welcomed, valued, respected, appreciated and seen. I work directly with the communications team on a day to day basis, but I also engage with colleagues across other departments. It is a true joy to work with such a diverse and talented group of professionals.
I’ve seen true leadership demonstrated from the top, and it flows through my direct team. I can truly say that this is one of the best places I’ve worked, and some of the best people I’ve worked alongside.
To my comms team, y’all are simply the best! Our leader, Bryan Jernigan, is second to none. Will Margerum and Emma Dostal are the perfect pieces to complete our team.
I value the opportunities presented to me in this organization and am thrilled to continue the mission of developing markets, enabling trade, and improving lives.
